First we find the nest. With European wasps that often means following the flight line to a hole in the lawn, a gap in a retaining wall or a weep hole. Paper wasps are easier: their open grey comb hangs under eaves, pergolas, fences and letterboxes.
The nest is treated with a registered insecticide, applied into the entrance when most of the colony is home. Activity drops within hours. Exposed nests are then taken down and bagged; nests inside a wall or the ground are left sealed off once the colony is dead, unless you want the wall opened.
Most wasp jobs are finished in a single visit, and each treated nest carries a 6 month warranty. If that nest becomes active again, we return at no charge.
